saturday, july 22 – downtown trail Map
Location: Trail Map pick up at Blue Rock Saloon & Downtown Businesses
Time: 2 PM – 5 PM
Details: Beginning on July 22nd and lasting until August 19th – We will be handing out “Ellensburg Rodeo Trail Maps.” The map will highlight participating businesses that are offering a western inspired menu item or drink. Purchasing an item will earn a completion stamp on the map. Completed maps can be entered into a drawing for an exclusive rodeo package.
In accordance with our sponsorship agreements, beverages for this promotion containing whisky shall use Crown Royal Whisky.
Trail maps and stickers will be provided by the Ellensburg Rodeo.
We will also have a “People’s Choice” award for the business that had the most popular item.

Use of the Ellensburg Rodeo and trademark is not intended for resale items. They may be used in the name of a particular food or beverage menu item during this event and through Labor Day 2023.
On July 22nd, Rusty Cage will be playing in the parking lot of the Blue Rock Saloon on 4th and Pine from 2 – 5 PM. Stop by and enjoy some music and start on your Trail Map!
saturday, july 28-29 – ellensburg music festival
Location: Downtown Ellensburg
Details: Catch some country western music at the Ellensburg Music Festival!
August 1st – labor day weekend – window decorating
A long time tradition throughout the county – we are encouraging businesses and organizations to decorate their windows to celebrate the Rodeo and the western way of life. Businesses can paint or set up a display in their windows. We will supply a QR code for each display for the community to vote for their favorite window. Please complete the form so we can have you listed and supply you with the voting QR Code.

FriDAY, AUGUST 4 – Frist Friday Art Walk
Location: Local downtown businesses
Time: 5 PM – 7 PM
Details: Local country western musicians will be playing around town. You can find Darian Osiadacz at the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame Museum, Bryson Evans and Alma Russ at Gallery One and Little Reprise at Gard Vintners.
Thursday, august 10 – COWgirl night out
Location: Local downtown businesses
Time: 5 PM – 8 PM
Details: We are calling all cowgirls! On August 10th the Rodeo is sponsoring Cowgirls Night Out. We will be encouraging all the cowgirls to get in their best rodeo attire and hit the down for a one of a kind cowgirl shopping experience. To be a highlighted business we are encouraging participants to offer something a bit unique for the cowgirls. Some examples could include something such as live music, refreshments, unique inventory, or special discounts. We are encouraging shopping at these select establishments by creating a drawing for every $25 spent at your businesses.
Businesses agree to distribute one ticket to patrons as they frequent listed establishments. Businesses agree to distribute additional tickets to patrons for every $25.00 spent. Ellensburg Rodeo will provide the tickets to participating businesses.

Location: Downtown Ellensburg

august 28th – labor day weekend – Dress the era/Cowboy & COwgirl attire
This is it! Rodeo Week! Monday August 28th through Monday September 4th we would love to see all the businesses and their employees encouraged or allowed to dress in western attire. What would really be special is to have employees dress in vintage western attire.
There is no need to register for Dress the Era/Cowboy and Cowgirl Attire.
