Proof of Insurance Requirements:(Required) Insurance is a requirement to participate in the Ellensburg Rodeo grand entry. If your organization has an insurance policy, contact your insurance provider and ask for the following: Certificate of Insurance which indicates that the Commercial General Liability policy has a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $2,000,000 Annual Aggregate. The policy needs to name as an additional insured: Ellensburg Rodeo 609 N Main St, Ellensburg, WA 98926. Please have the certificate and additional insured endorsement with your application. The insurance provider will need to know when the event is being held and what your involvement is in the parade. If you are not part of an insured organization, then you will need to acquire a Special Event Policy. The cheapest and easiest way to get these policies is online. Search the internet for “Special Event Insurance Policy” for many options. Premiums range from $150 to $500. You may not participate in the grand entry without proper insurance.
