Rebekah Mundell

Rebekah is the 24-year-old daughter of Alan and Lhea Mundell. Rebekah and her siblings grew up on a small farm in the town of Kingston, WA where they enjoyed rescuing animals. During high school Rebekah maintained a 4.0 GPA while also participating in soccer, volleyball and softball. In addition she was an active member of 4-H competing in horses, archery and trap shooting and as a member of the National High School Rodeo Association she competed in barrels, goat tying, team roping and breakaway roping.

After High School graduation Rebekah was selected to participate in an exchange program in Nagasaki, Japan. Upon her return from Japan, Rebekah completed her Associated of Art degree at CWU where she was also a member of the Rodeo Club and served as President. In 2021 Rebekah started online classes at Walla Walla Community College while also attending Bluestone academy in Ellensburg. Currently Rebekah is a cosmetologist in Ellensburg and plans to graduate this year with a Bachelors of Agricultural Science with a specification in Marketing. Rodeo would not have been possible without her horse Tebow. They learned how to rope together. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, rodeoing, watching movies, reading books and spending time with family.

Rebekah loves the challenging aspects of rodeo that make the wins so much more rewarding. Rebekah was considered a miracle baby and every day comes with a new challenge. The sport of rodeo has given her the motivation to persevere and taught her that her challenges are opportunities to become stronger and appreciate the small things. About being on the Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court Rebekah said “I simply love rodeo and want to share a sport I hold dear to my heart with as many people as possible.”
